Exploring mental health, religion, and society

About Me

Hi, I'm Robert!

I’m a researcher, writer, and speaker passionate about the intersections of mental health, religion, and society. My work explores how theological discourse shapes mental well-being, particularly within Pentecostalism, and how faith communities navigate mental health challenges.

I hold a doctorate in ministry and a Ph.D. in Theology. My research integrates sociological perspectives with practical theology, emphasizing how expectations of Spirit-empowerment interact with the realities of everyday life.

With a background in theological research, quality management, and higher education, I have years of experience in academic administration, research coordination, and student support. My work spans multiple disciplines, focusing on how religious ideologies impact emotional resilience, identity formation, and community support structures.

Currently, I manage a law firm while also building an online presence through Mental_Health_4_Beginners (Instagram) and my YouTube channel, where I share mental health insights, research techniques, and reflections on faith and society. I aim to make complex academic ideas accessible, helping people engage critically with mental health, theology, and personal growth.

I am married with four children, and much of my work is shaped by my experiences balancing family life, research, and professional responsibilities.
